Bruce’s service with NSW Ambulance, as a decorated Superintendent and front line operational officer has been honoured with multiple awards including Long Service and Good Conduct, National Service, COVID 19 Pandemic medals, the NSW Premier’s Bushfire Emergency Citation and Rotary Emergency Service Award. Bruce has had a lifetime of interest in first aid and part of his constitution, is that the public should have the skills and knowledge to potentially save a life, being part of the chain of survival, that is intrinsically dependent on early intervention – triple zero and CPR, defibrillation, and advanced care.
